Ype Wijnia
Ype Wijnia earned his master of science degree in Technical Management in 1998 at the Delft University of Technology. In March 2016 he finalized his PhD thesis on the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management at the Delft University of Technology on the design and organization of decision making processes for capital intensive industries.
Ype has extensive experience in asset management. From 1999 to 2007, he had a leading role in implementing asset management at Enexis (formerly Essent Netwerk B.V.), the second company in the world which certified her asset management processes according to the PAS55 standard. In his role as risk manager at Essent Netwerk B.V. Ype Wijnia has also included studies on the design of safety indicators for the gas network, the optimal long-term strategy for asset replacement (LTAP) and the risks related to IT systems. Since 2008 Ype is independent asset management consultant whose primary focus is risk- and investment management.

John de Croon
John has almost 20 years of asset management experience. After his Bachelor’s degree in electrical power engineering (Zwolle Polytechnic) and a master’s degree in quality management at the University of Humberside, John de Croon joined KEMA in 1993. He worked as a consultant in the Asset Lifecycle Management processes: investment decisions, engineering, construction and maintenance. From 1998 to 2005 John worked at Capgemini Consulting (and Ernst & Young Consulting, which was acquired by Capgemini) as consultant in the field of Asset Management. He then became Principal Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he had Asset Management as specialization. Since 2008, John is an independent Asset Management advisor.
John de Croon has extensive international experience in organizational changes, software selection and implementation of asset management and maintenance tools, investment selection, definition of maintenance concepts, asset management and maintenance management benchmarking, ISO55001 / PAS55 projects and Long Term Asset Planning (LTAP).
In addition to his work at AssetResolutions, John is a part-time teacher 'Technical Business Administration' at the Utrecht University of applied sciences.
